Update

So on Saturday I had to have emergency surgery because my hernia had pinched off a section of my intestines. The pain was miserable.

I was rushed into surgery an they corrected what was wrong. And the pain was miserable. But I was able to get home for Christmas and the joy of being with my family was incredible.

So I am healing at home and when I get a chance to I will be updating the blog

Until then I hope and pray you had a wonderful time celebrating the incarnation of Christ. And that you are healthy and happy. Please keep me in your prayers.

Monday, Monday

Well it appears that the medical professionals and I get to go back to work tomorrow. Once again able to pay bills, and ultimately qualify for medical insurance. Thanks for your prayers and support.

Please pray for Dr. R.C. Sproul

An Update on Dr. Sproul’s Health

FROM Nathan W. Bingham Dec 10, 2017 Category: Ministry News

Dr. Sproul is not improving as we had hoped and so these next few days are critical. He has a fever today due to the infection he has been fighting. Moreover, he is not decreasing in his reliance on the ventilator to support his breathing.

Your prayers in behalf of Dr. Sproul are deeply appreciated. They mean so much to the family and all who love R.C.

We will keep you informed here on the blog and on Facebook and Twitter if his condition changes.

12/8/17 at 3:00pm ET

We are pleased to report Dr. Sproul has less fluid on his lungs today than there was yesterday. He will continue to be sedated until he is less dependent on the ventilator, which helps his breathing. The Sprouls are grateful for your prayers and ask you to continue to pray for healing.

12/6/17 at 5:15pm ET

Dr. Sproul remains in a serious condition, his breathing being supported by a ventilator. He is currently sedated as the medical staff in ICU continues to monitor his health, even as they attempt a number of techniques to eliminate any infection.

His family is close by and sincerely appreciates the ongoing outpouring of support and prayers in Dr. Sproul’s behalf. Thank you for joining with us during this period of prayerful watchfulness for the hand of the Lord.

12/4/17 at 6:30pm ET

There are no significant updates to Dr. Sproul’s condition at this time. The Sproul family appreciates all of the expressions of support and asks for your continued prayers.

12/3/17 at 12:30pm ET

The Sproul family wanted you to know that Dr. Sproul was hospitalized yesterday due to respiratory difficulties. He is in guarded condition at the intensive care unit and receiving expert care and attention. The doctors believe this is not pneumonia, but an exacerbation of his emphysema due to the flu so he has been put on a ventilator to help his breathing. Thank you for praying for his recovery.

So the flu…

Taking a chance with my health I postponed my annual flu shot and of course I got the flu.  You know the gut wrenching vomiting the high fever with the accompanied chills that makes you pile 500 blankets on you to stay “warm”.

Waking up the next day your clothes soaked in sweat and your pain receptors are so high moving your fingers through your hair radiates pain through your whole body.  Not to mention you are parched as if you went through the desert with only a cup of warm water.

The flu.

So when I get over this posts will continue.  And I am going to get my flu shot.
