Saturday Night Special

Well it is June and someone has designated this month for one of the seven deadly sins. And with that in mind here we go.

So it seems that Jack Dorsey CEO of Twitter enjoyed a chicken sandwich made by Chick-fil-A and tweeted about it which caused the SJW on Twitter to have a conniption fit. And even Soledad O’Brien tweeting: “This is an interesting company to boost during Pride month, Jack,” This of course caused Jack Dorsey to quickly backpeddle and apologize for eating a sandwich.

But wait there is more! Noah Michelson in a Huff-Post article wrote that if you really love and support LGBQT people you must stop eating at Chick-fil-A. In the article Michelson does point out that Chick-fil-A has done some good things, such as provide free meals to the blood donor volunteers at the Pulse Club shooting, still nothing can make up for Dan Cathy’s defense of traditional marriage being between one man and one woman.

I would like to point out that the last time someone suggested this course of action Chick-fil-A had over flowing restaurants full of customers.

From here let’s travel to a track meet in Connecticut. Where two transgender “girls” won the 100 & 200 meter. The two “girls” had previously been on the boys track team until they decided to switch to the girls team.

Of course by switching to the girls team these two biological boys knocked out two young girls who had been compeating for those same positions but couldn’t compete against the basic biological difference of male muscularity versus female muscularity.

By doing this the level playing field that once existed no longer exists. But of course a level playing field’s meaning has been changed by the idea that transgender rights supercede anything that might be biologically based.

In Canada their equivalent of PBS produced this:

Francis Schaeffer years ago pointed out that there is nothing neutral, everything reflects a certain worldview. And what is being taught to the children will shape their worldview. It is obvious what worldview is being taught to the children in Canada the question is what worldview is being taught to your children.

Good night.

Frenetic Friday

For mature audiences only.

We have a lot of ground to cover tonight, robots, mad scientists, culture of death, cannibalism, christian persecution and fake porn.

So let’s start with the fake porn.  So someone called deepfakes has created an easy to use app, no I am not going to tell you its name, that can easily  swap the face of a person and place it upon the body of another one.  Now this isn’t new people have done this for years.  However, you usually had to be an expert in Photoshop to be able to do this accurately so that there was no obvious glitches.  No longer this app makes it easy and any person with a basic understanding can create fake or revenge porn.

But that isn’t all there are political ramifications to this also.  Imagine putting a politician’s face on an ad saying something totally  opposite what they believe or what their party platform is.  Take for instance this deep fake of Donald Trump as Biff from back to the future

Or how about Steve Buscemi’s face on Sharon Stone from the iconic Basic Instinct (warning adult content)

So now the question is can we trust anything on the internet?

Have you seen this little cutie? He is the latest Gerber baby and he has down syndrome. Ruth Marcus in an opinion column in the Washington Post said that she needs to have the right to abort a down syndrome baby. Her article: I would have aborted a fetus with Downs syndrome. Women need that right. She frankly admits that if you consider abortion murder then you wouldn’t do this, but not her, displaying a fundamental flaw in her thinking she states that she doesn’t consider down children human. Because of their developmental disabilities they are “not the child I wanted”.

In response to this article Pro-life Chair of the House Republican Conference Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-WA took to twitter to respond to the offensive op-ed piece. McMorris Rogers has a down syndrome child herself and said:

she understands how difficult it is “to be told that your child’s life is going to be different than you dreamed,” but she believes “every baby has a right to life, period.”

Mad Science Update!

Well one of the goals of a certain group of scientists is to create “cruelty free” meat.  Basically meat that isn’t grown by animals such as cows or chickens rather it is grown in a vat.  PETA has offered  a million dollars to sell in vitro chicken.   But famous atheist Richard  Dawkins responding to an article about clean meat in the Independent  says why don’t we go a step further and think about eating human meat?

But don’t think we are at the end of the insanity here. No how about a human-chimp hybrid? A humanzee, according to David P. Barash, a professor at the University of Washington writing  at Nautilus, is an idea whose time has come. And why should we do this? Well according to Darash we need to do this because:

the grotesque abuse of nonhuman animals, facilitated by what might well be the most hurtful theologically-driven myth of all times: that human beings are discontinuous from the rest of the natural world, since we were specially created and endowed with souls, whereas “they”—all other creatures—were not.

Yes we have to do this because David P. Barash wants to deny his Creator. And creating a humanzee would “prove” the continuity between humans and apes and thus evolution.  So ultimately creating monsters, and humanzees are monsters, is just another way to rebel against the creator who made you.

And Walmart, yes Walmart has just filed a patent for robot bees or more correctly pollination drones which can be used to pollinate crops.  The robots would collect pollen from one flower and use it to pollinate another one by means of cameras and sensors to detect where the crops are located.

With the loss of bees over the years , there has been a concern on how to replace them and robotic bees have been in the works.  But this is the first time that, according to the patent, the bees can be remotely controlled and automatically detect pollen.

And finally lets take a trip to Sweden.

Refugees, Muslim and   Christian, trying to escape violence are moving to Sweden.  Except for Christians this move to escape violence has just brought the violence to different country.  Christians have been attacked for wearing crosses in public by Islamists.  Many of these attacks have been on converts to Christianity from Islam.  But not all.  And while these attacks have been on the rise the Swedish government isn’t doing anything to stop them.  Pray for the Christian refugees in Sweden.

And good night for Frenetic Friday.

Frenetic Friday

So yes Frenetic Friday is coming back, although this week another Saturday Night Special will be appearing.  I am trying to get some icons, graphics what have you to give you gentle readers some indication of what the subject(s)  of the post will be in reference to.  Most of you have seen my fifties home maker graphic that appears when I write about feminism because #patriarchy.  So I am trying to find some open source graphics to go along with the Robotic Over Lord’s and the other subjects such as the culture wars.  And any suggestions will be appreciated.  See you Saturday.

Quick Update

As you can see I have updated the theme of the blog and there is going to be a Frenetic Friday.

Hardware

So my laptop died the other day and I had to replace the hard drive with a new one.  I opted for a solid state drive and after I installed the drive and reinstalled the operating system I was doing my usual “Things to do after installing Xubu 16.04 LTS” when I noticed a caveat regarding solid state drives.  It was a warning that solid state drives need a few extra tweaks to make it work well and long.  So I have yet to do the tweaks because, well, I haven’t done this before and my natural inclination is to read about it five times and then do it around midnight.

So I am obsessing over the fine tuning, and since it is spring Mrs. Keachfan wants me to remove non-working hardware.  Which everything in my little hacker heart screams no.  So I will be busy this week and still try to get a few thing written.

MEH

Yeah I know I haven’t done a Frenetic Friday for awhile.  I am going to get back into the swing of things now that I am not in a constant job search mode.  Until then a little reminder.

Frenetic Friday

Yes it’s true, at long last the first Frenetic Friday of the year.

So as regards to politics well frankly I am waiting until the old president leaves and the new president is sworn in before I start paying attention too much to all of this however, I do want to point you to this podcast by Mike Rowe.  He’s the dirty jobs guy in case you didn’t know and he has a podcast called The Way I heard it with Mike Rowe.  But I would especially point you to Episode 36 titled: “Oh Brother” it does put a few things in perspective.  Give it a listen.

So have you’ve heard of Camille Pagilia right?  She is famous or infamous for her critic of feminism but here in this video she points out that transgender mania is actually a sign of cultural collapse and points to history that shows this what happens before the culture ends.

Speaking of marriage let me introduce to the newest couple, I mean  single, I mean couple, okay I am confused what is going on here?  Erika Anderson stands on rooftop in Brooklyn and marries herself to herself.  What?  Yep it seems that the latest trend in marriage is not a same sex couple, not  multiple partners (polygamy/polyamory), nope the latest trend is marrying yourself.  Instead of two becoming one, the one is becoming one.  And as Rebecca Traister, author of All the Single Ladies: Unmarried Women and the Rise of an Independent Nation says:  “It’s not a legal process — you won’t get any tax breaks for marrying yourself. It’s more a “rebuke” of tradition.”  No kidding.  But it appears to be a semi lucrative business as “on the website I Married Me, you can buy a DIY marriage kit: For $50, you get a sterling silver ring, ceremony instructions, vows, and 24 “affirmation cards” to remind you of your vows over time. For $230, you can get the kit with a 14-karat gold ring.”  <source>

BTW in 2013 in an blog post on the Pyromaniac’s Blog Frank Turk predicted this very thing based on the rise of same sex marriage.  See here

Also a sad good by to one of the more articulate and erudite bloggers Frank Turk.  He has decided to close shop and leave blogging and twitter.  His farewell post is here:  The End  I owe much to Frank he along with Phil Johnson and Dan Phillips alway made me think deeper and clearer even if I didn’t agree with them.  Farewell sir, God speed.

And good night to you all.

Earworm Wednesday

Well the only tune in my head isn’t, I just hear the voices with the interesting ideas.  Tune in (see what I did there) next week for another earworm.

Frenetic Friday

It is June 10th 2016 and this Frenetic Friday!

So first an important word from Mike Rowe:

Parents point your children to this.

“This is Emmy, mailing our letter to the prenatal specialist who didn’t want her to live. He repeatedly suggested we abort. He said her and our quality of life would be horrible.” Emmy’s mother Courtney Baker says, “He was so unbelievably wrong. I want to do something to advocate, but other than my letter to him, I don’t know what yet.”

Courtney Baker’s letter which you can read here talks about her love for her daughter Emmy and the how she had to deal with her doctor who kept pressuring her to abort saying that Emmy would affect their “quality of life”.

But as Courtney points out her child is perfect, Emmy isn’t a mistake and she enhances the quality of life not takes away from it.  Not only her family but in thousands of other families too.

So have you heard of AB/DL?  Well list this one under the downward spiral of moral degeneracy if we can call any thing degenerate any more.  But I know you’re asking what is AB/DL?  Well it is Adult Baby Diaper Lovers.  Frankly I don’t know if I want to list this under Peter Pan syndrome or just plain lunacy.  But there is a store in Illinois called Tykables that specialize in adult size diapers for adults that want to be babies.  Yes I am well aware of the oxymoronic nature of that statement.    But not only that at the store in their “nursery area’ is a giant crib, high chair, and rocking horse for people to take pictures of themselves no doubt while clad in the diaper.  <source>

Now let us journey to the Great White North for a momentous court decision that just happened.

Most bestiality is legal, declares Canada’s Supreme Court

The Court left it up to Parliament to better define the term.

Sex acts with animals are legal in Canada, so long as there is no penetration involved, according to a surprise ruling issued by the Supreme Court.

Just when I think that we can’t go any lower someone gets out a shovel.  You can read about this here.  But really what can we expect?  Once the moral principle that governs western civilization is abandoned what can be called wrong if there is no objective truth?  There is a rant there but I am going to save it for another day.  Just keep a close watch on your animals if you travel to Canada.

There is an excellent article by David Sorrell entitled Trans Theory is a War Against Reality.  I suggest that you take a minute and click the link provided and read this excellent article.

Oh and while I am at it over at VOX Alan Noble has written “Evangelicals like me can’t vote for Trump — or Clinton. Here’s what we can do instead.”  If you don’t want to choose between two evils of equal value I suggest you read the article.

And no this isn’t a parody this is what a particular  United Church of Christ put up on their Facebook page:

So keep in mind no matter what if you are white you are racist.

And now for some good news.

In South Korea Jung Gwang-il is working with a music studio, producer and a former singer of North Korean propaganda songs to create “stealth gospel music”.  In Korea the only music allowed is songs praising the Kim family the hereditary dictators of North Korea.  Jung Gwang-il is taking those songs and changing them so instead of praising the Kim family they praise Jesus and the Holy Spirit.

Jung says: “It sounds exactly the same as what you would hear in North Korea, the same accompaniment, the same type of voice, but the names have all been changed, [The customs officials] aren’t going to sit there and listen to each song, because the music sounds the same to what they’re used to hearing,”

Although Jung Gwang-il says the stealth gospel music is not meant for proselytizing people but rather exposing them to new ideas let us hope and pray that hearing about Jesus causes the gospel to be heard once again in the hermit kingdom. <source>

Lastly a Ted Talk Parody

Good night folks.

No Frenetic Friday

So long story short I have been working long hours at my place of work and I am mind numbing tired.  So rather than have a sub par post I am going to postpone Frenetic Friday for a week.
