Frenetic Friday

Once again the sound of Liberty Bell peals out and the tatterdemalion stumbles towards you saying:

Ladies and Gentlemen it is a distinct pleasure to once again post a Frenetic Friday.  And we have a good one for you.

So those of you who are living in Portland have probably seen this:  (warning language)

It is nice to see these thugs get a little comeuppance now if Portland’s mayor would just get a backbone and do the same.

Ligioner Ministries has once again gifted us with The State of Theology

I seriously urge you to go to the website and examine what Evangelicals believe about theology and the Bible.

Yes you know what that means the Robotic Over Lords has stepped u[ their world domination case in point:

And with that terrifying video I bid you good night until the next Frenetic Friday.

Frenetic Friday

For mature audiences only.

We have a lot of ground to cover tonight, robots, mad scientists, culture of death, cannibalism, christian persecution and fake porn.

So let’s start with the fake porn.  So someone called deepfakes has created an easy to use app, no I am not going to tell you its name, that can easily  swap the face of a person and place it upon the body of another one.  Now this isn’t new people have done this for years.  However, you usually had to be an expert in Photoshop to be able to do this accurately so that there was no obvious glitches.  No longer this app makes it easy and any person with a basic understanding can create fake or revenge porn.

But that isn’t all there are political ramifications to this also.  Imagine putting a politician’s face on an ad saying something totally  opposite what they believe or what their party platform is.  Take for instance this deep fake of Donald Trump as Biff from back to the future

Or how about Steve Buscemi’s face on Sharon Stone from the iconic Basic Instinct (warning adult content)

So now the question is can we trust anything on the internet?

Have you seen this little cutie? He is the latest Gerber baby and he has down syndrome. Ruth Marcus in an opinion column in the Washington Post said that she needs to have the right to abort a down syndrome baby. Her article: I would have aborted a fetus with Downs syndrome. Women need that right. She frankly admits that if you consider abortion murder then you wouldn’t do this, but not her, displaying a fundamental flaw in her thinking she states that she doesn’t consider down children human. Because of their developmental disabilities they are “not the child I wanted”.

In response to this article Pro-life Chair of the House Republican Conference Cathy McMorris Rodgers, R-WA took to twitter to respond to the offensive op-ed piece. McMorris Rogers has a down syndrome child herself and said:

she understands how difficult it is “to be told that your child’s life is going to be different than you dreamed,” but she believes “every baby has a right to life, period.”

Mad Science Update!

Well one of the goals of a certain group of scientists is to create “cruelty free” meat.  Basically meat that isn’t grown by animals such as cows or chickens rather it is grown in a vat.  PETA has offered  a million dollars to sell in vitro chicken.   But famous atheist Richard  Dawkins responding to an article about clean meat in the Independent  says why don’t we go a step further and think about eating human meat?

But don’t think we are at the end of the insanity here. No how about a human-chimp hybrid? A humanzee, according to David P. Barash, a professor at the University of Washington writing  at Nautilus, is an idea whose time has come. And why should we do this? Well according to Darash we need to do this because:

the grotesque abuse of nonhuman animals, facilitated by what might well be the most hurtful theologically-driven myth of all times: that human beings are discontinuous from the rest of the natural world, since we were specially created and endowed with souls, whereas “they”—all other creatures—were not.

Yes we have to do this because David P. Barash wants to deny his Creator. And creating a humanzee would “prove” the continuity between humans and apes and thus evolution.  So ultimately creating monsters, and humanzees are monsters, is just another way to rebel against the creator who made you.

And Walmart, yes Walmart has just filed a patent for robot bees or more correctly pollination drones which can be used to pollinate crops.  The robots would collect pollen from one flower and use it to pollinate another one by means of cameras and sensors to detect where the crops are located.

With the loss of bees over the years , there has been a concern on how to replace them and robotic bees have been in the works.  But this is the first time that, according to the patent, the bees can be remotely controlled and automatically detect pollen.

And finally lets take a trip to Sweden.

Refugees, Muslim and   Christian, trying to escape violence are moving to Sweden.  Except for Christians this move to escape violence has just brought the violence to different country.  Christians have been attacked for wearing crosses in public by Islamists.  Many of these attacks have been on converts to Christianity from Islam.  But not all.  And while these attacks have been on the rise the Swedish government isn’t doing anything to stop them.  Pray for the Christian refugees in Sweden.

And good night for Frenetic Friday.

Frenetic Friday

Today’s Frenetic Friday is brought to you by the number three and diet pop, well mostly by the diet pop.

So I haven’t had the time to do a Theology Thursday lately and so instead let’s go to the link below and take a little test on the Trinity.

Thirty three on the Three in One

So over at the Babylon Bee they posted this story:

CNN Purchases Industrial-Sized Washing Machine To Spin News Before Publication

And then Snopes responded with this:

Did CNN purchase an industrial size washer to spin news

Which caused Facebook to send this to Adam Ford:

Which of course is when you ask if Snopes‘ fact checkers understand the concept of satire.

Satire Definition

Satire is a technique employed by writers to expose and criticize foolishness and corruption of an individual or a society, by using humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule. It intends to improve humanity by criticizing its follies and foibles. A writer in a satire uses fictional characters, which stand for real people, to expose and condemn their corruption.

A writer may point a satire toward a person, a country, or even the entire world. Usually, a satire is a comical piece of writing which makes fun of an individual or a society, to expose its stupidity and shortcomings. In addition, he hopes that those he criticizes will improve their characters by overcoming their weaknesses.

Now to Facebook’s credit it has acknowledge its mistake and regrets that it caused Adam Ford problems. (source) But the question still remains why is Snopes fact checking a website devoted to satire? Does it do this with any other satire websites or only ones which are obviously Christian based? Think about this next time you use Snopes for fact checking.

And last we have an interesting article from Civil Eats. A lunch counter where a social experiment is being played out. There two bills you can pay either twelve dollars for your meal or you can pay thirty dollars for your meal. But this only applies if you are White. If you are Black then the price is twelve dollars. The extra eighteen dollars represents the disparity in income between Blacks and Whites. And if they want, the Black customers can take the extra eighteen dollars that the White customers may have paid. During the meal the owner discusses with customer the subject of racial wealth gap. The total time between order and serving is fifteen minutes. So it is a quick conversation.

Two interesting items, among others, in the article is the response of some of the Black customers.

76 percent of the Black diners refused to take the $18 that they were offered. “Black people have even tried to pay the $30 and I’m like ‘No, it’s not for you,’” he said.

And then there is the median income. Through the pre-meal survey, he learned that the majority of his diners have incomes around $65,000, whereas the median household income in New Orleans is around $39,000. So Wey acknowledged that the results may have been different if the pop-up had attracted more of a diverse spread of incomes.

“A lot of the Black folks said, ‘I don’t need that money, give it to someone else who needs it.’”

And that is Frenetic Friday for tonight see you in church on Sunday.

Frenetic Friday

Culture of Death

Well it’s been a disappointing time as the United States Senate failed to stop the worship of Moloch. Of course I am referring to the failure of the 20 week abortion ban. It needed 60 votes to pass and came short by 9 votes. Nine votes! Not only that but two Republicans, Senator Susan Collins of Maine and Senator Lisa Murkowski of Alaska voted against the ban. Pressure your representatives we can get this passed.

In further news from the culture of death, the high priestess of Moloch, Cecile Richards, has decided to step down from running Planned Parenthood. During her twelve years babies were butchered for their body parts, and she worked tirelessly to make sure her god was fed, although she called it “reproductive rights”. Goebbels no doubt is jealous as she has obviously surpassed him with her abattoirs.

Oh yes it’s another feminist update.  Have you ever heard of Femme Feral  Neither have I.  It is a “queer, femme fighting force” which is the same as saying red dog clover greens.  Their goals are to bring down the patriarchy and destroy conservative government.  Which is accomplished by wrestling with each other, pummeling each other, and screaming at the top of their lungs.  And this will topple government.  But don’t take my word watch the video.

Did you ever wonder where is the most dangerous place to live is if you’re a Christian?  Well Open Doors USA  has a list of the most dangerous places to live if you are a Christian.  And surprise, surprise North Korea tops the list. The 2018 report on christian persecution.

It is a short one tonight gentle readers have a good weekend see you in church.

Movie Review:  Meet John Doe

Priducer:  Frank Capra
Director:  Frank Capra
Writer:  Robert Presnell, Sr.
Cast: Gary Cooper, Barbara Stanwyck, Edward Arnold, Walter Brennan, Spring Byington, James Gleason, Gene Lockhart, Rod La Rocque, Irving Bacon, Regis Toomey, J. Farrell MacDonald, Harry Holman, Warren Hymer, Pierre Watkin, Sterling Holloway, and Harry Davenport

I find that there is “nothing new under the sun” case in point Frank Capra’s marvelous movie is about fake news.

Ann Mitchell (Barbara Stanwyck) furious that she is loosing her job after the newspaper she works for has been purchased and informed that she still must write one last column for the paper writes a fictional account of an unemployed “John Doe” who disgusted by society’s ills threatens to commit suicide on Christmas Eve in protest.

This letter causes an uproar amongst the city’s elites who demand that something be done about this horrendous affair.  The rival newspaper claims that it is all a fraud and demands proof.  When Ann Mitchell is brought before the owner and the editor she admits that she made it all up.

Pointing out that this would be a great way to sell more papers by having a column “written” by John Doe exposing the ills of society the owner agrees seeking to use the column for his own means.  But they need a patsy.  And in walks a perfect one Long John Willoughby (Gary Cooper) a former baseball player and tramp looking to earn some money to fix his arm so he can go back to playing baseball.

Ann Mitchell starts writing the columns and even gets John to read a speech on the radio.  But being convicted by his friend “The Colonel” (Walter Brennan) he runs away and rides the rails with “The Colonel” until they come to a small town where he, John, is recognized as John Doe.  There he learns that regular people inspired by his speech are going out and helping their neighbors and have set up “John Doe club”.

These clubs spread across the country and the owner of the Newspaper that started all of this plans to use them as a means to run the country and get his own political agenda into the government.  When John finds out about this and threatens to expose them he responds that he is prepared for that contingency and will ruin it all.  John’s reply needs to be seen to be appreciated.

This is a great family movie and one that can bring up good conversations regarding what newspapers, indeed any news organization, owes to the people who rely on them for what is the news and what is happening in the world.

I give this movie five stars.

Frenetic Friday

I suppose it would help if I switched over to English instead of Esperanto for my keyboard app.  Welcome to Keachfan’s blog.  Still tidying up around here the theme needs a few personal tweaks to make it my own but let’s get to the serious stuff.

So the Las Vegas shooting.  You know better people than I have commented on this and frankly I suggest that you check out what Albert Kohler had to say about it.  An act of pure evil searching for meaning in the Las Vegas shooting.

Needless to say, yet I will say it prayers for the victims.  May the hope and comfort of the Gospel be presented to them.

And in other news the Archbishop of Canterbury can’t answer a question that previous Archbishops could.  Justin Welby, Archbishop of Canterbury, the head of the Anglican Communion was asked in an interview whether having gay sex was sinful.  His reply is printed below.

‘Because I don’t do blanket condemnation and I haven’t got a good answer to the question. I’ll be really honest about that. I know I haven’t got a good answer to the question. Inherently, within myself, the things that seem to me to be absolutely central are around faithfulness, stability of relationships and loving relationships.’

He agreed that this could be between a man and a man or a woman and a woman.

But he added: ‘I am also aware – a view deeply held by tradition since long before Christianity, within the Jewish tradition – that marriage is understood invariably as being between a man and a woman. Or, in various times, a man and several women, if you go back to the Old Testament. I know that the Church around the world is deeply divided on this in some places, including the Anglicans and other Churches, not just us, and we are – the vast majority of the Church is – deeply against gay sex.’

Of course this is the same Archbishop who said that :

I draw the line in terms of respect for the other; in starting by listening before you speak; in terms of love that is unconditional and not conditional to one iota, to one single element on how the person responds to your own declaration of faith; and of not speaking about faith unless you are asked about faith,

So don’t talk about Christianity unless asked.   Makes me wonder what Latimer and Ridley would say to this as we are closing in on the anniversary  of their martyrdom.

And speaking of political correctness how about being denied a research application because it was politically incorrect?  James Caspian, a psychotherapist specializing on working with transgender people was denied his request to study transgenders who want to do “gender reassignment reversals” after finding out that their surgery didn’t in fact make them happy.   the United Kingdom’s Bath Spa University turned this down because it was “potentially politically incorrect.”  Caspian has worked extensively with gender variant people and has been a trustee of a UK charity “dedicated to education about and support of transgendered, transsexual and cross-dressing individuals.”  Caspian sought this research after speaking with a surgeon who specialized in transgender surgery who told him about “transwomen” coming back and asking to have their male genitalia recreated.  As Caspian investigated this he found more transgender people who regretted having gone through the surgery and wanted to go back to their original gender.   But still the university denied it siting possible criticism toward the university.  (see here for more)

And last but not least the kitchen of the future:

Frenetic Friday

So let’s talk about hairstyle:
HT: Billy Leonhart

Now just because this is the haircut my father and uncles wore when they enlisted and fought against the Nazis in World War II doesn’t mean anything.  Because history who needs it! However let me suggest some alternatives.

The Staliny yes comrades there is nothing that say antifa like the haircut of a man who slaughtered between 20 to 40 million people. (Accounts vary)

Ah the Che Che for the rough urban social justice warrior.  The head of Castro’s La Cabaña prison and responsible for over 1000 firing squad executions and the forced labor camps which imprisoned Jehovah witnesses, homosexuals, Afro-Cuban priests, and anyone else who opposed the revolution. And of course the Mao, the Pol Pot, and the Kim Jong Il.  You might want to select by the number of people they had executed.

Switching to the Evangelical world have you heard about the Nashville Statement?  Click on the link if you want to read it.  Needless to say this has caused the liberals/progressive “Christians” an apoplectic fit. You can read some of the responses:

We go to Iceland for some breaking news from the Culture of Death!

Down Syndrome disappearing in Iceland because of Abortion

Speaking of Science this is a few weeks old but worth noting:

Man plays God

In a news report from the MIT Technology Review scientists have reported that they have successfully modified human DNA and created a genetically modified human embryo.   Soon despite what scientist say won’t happen will.  Designer babies have entered the first stage soon the dreams of eugenics will take on reality.  And just so you know the method they are using known as CRISPR doesn’t create “mules” no these children will pass on their changes to future generations. Last year this technology was call a weapon of mass destruction by top US Intelligence services.

Finally I am taking a brief hiatus from the blog.  A minimum of a month a maximum of two months.  The catechism posts will continue to occur on Sunday.  Look for changes coming to the blog.

Frenetic Friday

The plane boss, the plane!   Smiles everyone!  Welcome to Frenetic Friday!

Politics

This has been making the rounds so I thought I would show it here also.

Socialism:
Noun.

Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.

The stage in Marxist-Leninist theory intermediate between capitalism and communism, in which collective ownership of the economy under the dictatorship of the proletariat has not yet been successfully achieved.

For a real world example of this see Venezuela under Hugo Chavez.

Moving from politics to alphabet soup have you heard about the LGBQT(add what ever letters are appropriate) activist millionaire that wants to punish Christians?  Tim Gill said in a recent interview in Rolling Stone magazine that his foundation, The Gill Foundation, is targeting every state that has a religious freedom act, and right now he is hitting every southern state possible.  Or as it states in the article “We’re going into the hardest states in the country,  he (Tim Gill)  says.  We are going to punish the wicked.”  That is how he views us the wicked.  So if you want to know where the money comes to persecute the bakers, florists,  the regular Christian people trying to live their faith it is from millionaires like Tim Gill.

Culture of Death Alert.

So after Planned Parenthood was found to be selling baby parts you’d think that they couldn’t get lower.  But no they picked up a shovel and started digging.   In a recent artivle in the Federalist Jim Silberman writes how PP helped underaged sex traffickers get abortions for girls fourteen and fifteen years old as well as girls being smuggled across the state or from another country.  No thought about the illegality of the act, nor for the welfare of the young girls.  No it’s all about killing babies and getting the money.  Check out the link.  Planned Parenthood safe judgement free place for underage sex traffikers

Technology News

Yes it has been awhile since I had a Robotic Overlord update.  And frankly there hasn’t been many new advances into our demise but there has been some cute ones.   For instance meet Pillo.

Yes the latest thing in healthcare isn’t insurance rather it is a robot that will dispense and order your medications for you.  And give you information regarding calories in food, alert providers if you have missed taking medication and contact your doctor.  But here is the paranoid in me with everything being connected via the networks what happens if Pillo decides that kahula cream pie in the refrigerator isn’t healthy for you?  What if Pillo tells the refrigerator not to open.  What if Pillo calls the food police and they remove the pie and give you carrot sticks?  Don’t think it wouldn’t happen.

Have you ever made the “call me” hand sign?  Well with SGNL you can use your hand as a receiver take a look:

Well that’s it good night from Frenetic Friday.

Frenetic Friday

Yes it’s true, at long last the first Frenetic Friday of the year.

So as regards to politics well frankly I am waiting until the old president leaves and the new president is sworn in before I start paying attention too much to all of this however, I do want to point you to this podcast by Mike Rowe.  He’s the dirty jobs guy in case you didn’t know and he has a podcast called The Way I heard it with Mike Rowe.  But I would especially point you to Episode 36 titled: “Oh Brother” it does put a few things in perspective.  Give it a listen.

So have you’ve heard of Camille Pagilia right?  She is famous or infamous for her critic of feminism but here in this video she points out that transgender mania is actually a sign of cultural collapse and points to history that shows this what happens before the culture ends.

Speaking of marriage let me introduce to the newest couple, I mean  single, I mean couple, okay I am confused what is going on here?  Erika Anderson stands on rooftop in Brooklyn and marries herself to herself.  What?  Yep it seems that the latest trend in marriage is not a same sex couple, not  multiple partners (polygamy/polyamory), nope the latest trend is marrying yourself.  Instead of two becoming one, the one is becoming one.  And as Rebecca Traister, author of All the Single Ladies: Unmarried Women and the Rise of an Independent Nation says:  “It’s not a legal process — you won’t get any tax breaks for marrying yourself. It’s more a “rebuke” of tradition.”  No kidding.  But it appears to be a semi lucrative business as “on the website I Married Me, you can buy a DIY marriage kit: For $50, you get a sterling silver ring, ceremony instructions, vows, and 24 “affirmation cards” to remind you of your vows over time. For $230, you can get the kit with a 14-karat gold ring.”  <source>

BTW in 2013 in an blog post on the Pyromaniac’s Blog Frank Turk predicted this very thing based on the rise of same sex marriage.  See here

Also a sad good by to one of the more articulate and erudite bloggers Frank Turk.  He has decided to close shop and leave blogging and twitter.  His farewell post is here:  The End  I owe much to Frank he along with Phil Johnson and Dan Phillips alway made me think deeper and clearer even if I didn’t agree with them.  Farewell sir, God speed.

And good night to you all.
