Frenetic Friday

Coming to you from the underground cave in the fortress of solitude it is Frenetic Friday.

Standing up to the culture of death has consequences. Here are two examples:

Harmony Daws was elected as the president of the Oregon Right To Life  after telling her boss that she had been made president of the organization her boss became “cold and distant” and ultimately terminated her for her pro-life beliefs saying that they caused her to discriminate against other employees.  Harmony wrote this:

Firing someone based on their religious or political beliefs is a civil rights violation. I’m a libertarian and I support my former employer’s right to hire and fire as she chooses. However, she could have asked for a resignation over our difference of beliefs. To have been mistreated as I by being fired, after my exemplary record as an employee, was unconscionable. Regardless, had I known then what the price to accept the presidency would be, I would still have accepted the position. Fifty-eight million children have lost their lives since 1973. Losing a job in my stand for their right to life was a small price to pay

David Daleiden is one of the makers of the Planned Parenthood expose videos showing how Planned Parenthood is selling baby body parts.  So when the Harris County Grand Jury convened you would expect them to indict Planned Parenthood instead  they brought criminal charges against David Daleiden for buying and selling human organs and tampering with a governmental record.  Oh and Planned Parenthood was cleared of all charges.  In an official press release after being indicted Daleiden wrote:

“The Center for Medical Progress uses the same undercover techniques that investigative journalists have used for decades in exercising our First Amendment rights to freedom of speech and of the press, and follows all applicable laws,” Daleiden said. “We respect the processes of the Harris County District Attorney, and note that buying fetal tissue requires a seller as well.”

Despite this they released another video showing how Planned Parenthood hid the sale of parts.

And now a little science.  DNA is a marvelous thing in my opinion it is one of the objective evidences for intelligent design, it points to a Creator.  Unfortunately DNA is used in other ways too.  Colman Chadam had to leave school because he carries the genetic markers for cystic fibrosis.  Now you may not know this, I certainly didn’t, but children with inherited lung diseases can’t be near each other as they can infect each other.  There are two children with cystic fibrosis in the school that Colman Chadam attends and because even though he doesn’t have the disease because he has the genetic markers he was told to leave.  This caused his parents to file a lawsuit under genetic discrimination.  And here is the coming portent, with DNA testing becoming cheaper and easier to obtain the temptation to use that information for their own means becomes easier.  So just think if your company has a requirement to get a genetic sample and finds that you may have the markers for say cancer, or heart disease, even though you may not have anything wrong with you, they could deny employment based on the fact that you could cause their insurance rates to rise.  (source)

And that is it for Frenetic Friday.
