Frenetic Friday

In the final decade of the 21st Century, men and women in rocket ships landed on the moon. By 2200 AD, they had reached the other planets of our solar system. Almost at once there followed the discovery of hyperdrive through which the speed of light was first obtained and later greatly surpassed. And so, at last, mankind began the conquest and colonization of deep space. United Planets Cruiser C57D, now more than a year out from Earth Base on a special mission to the planetary system of the great main-sequence star “Frenetic Friday.”

And again a thousand Keach Points for the first reader to recognize the quote.

And yes I’ve created a special point system. We’ll see what comes of it.

We have some new readers/followers of the blog welcome look around read some of the earlier posts this blog wouldn’t exist without you.

A win for the Center for Medical Progress as a judge in California ruled against StemExpress and said that they can’t take videos and documents used to expose what Planned Parenthood is doing by selling body parts of aborted babies. (life news)

The sixth video has been released by Center for Medical Progress in it the person on the video says that Planned Parenthood sold the parts of the baby without the mother’s consent.

Albert Mohler on the Briefing points to an article in the Daily Beast by Ruben Navarette, Jr. titled:

I Don’t Know if I’m Pro-Choice After Planned Parenthood Videos,

There are a lot of interesting things in this article but one of the most telling was this statement by Navarette: (caution profane language)

As I’ve only realized lately, to be a man, and to declare yourself pro-choice, is to proclaim your neutrality. And, as I’ve only recently been willing to admit, even to myself, that’s another name for “wimping out.”

At least that’s how my wife sees it. She’s pro-life, and so she’s been tearing into me every time a new video is released. She’s not buying my argument that, as a man, I have to defer to women and trust them to make their own choices about what to do with their bodies. To her, that’s ridiculous—and cowardly.

“You can’t stand on the sidelines, especially now that you’ve seen these videos,” she told me recently. “That’s bullshit! These are babies that are being killed. Millions of them. And you need to use your voice to protect them. That’s what a man does. He protects children—his own children, and other children. That’s what it means to be a man.”<emphasis mine>

I follow many different people on twitter and just so you know I will follow you unless you’re a telemarketer, a pyramid scheme promoter, or someone who like to post inappropriate photos (those people get blocked) but one of the people I follow is Mike Adams he is a former atheist and Democrat that became a Christian and a Republican.  He has written a provocative column at called:  Three Kinds of Christians.    He lists them as the Courageous Christian, the Clueless Christian, and the Cowardly Christian and hints at a fourth kind of Christian.  It is an interesting article and I highly suggest that you take a minute and read it.
