Frenetic Friday

Oh this is going to be a doozie, we’ve have everything and robots too.

I haven’t done this for awhile so let me welcome any new readers to the blog thank you for stopping by we appreciate it greatly.

While I am at it make sure you take a look at Theology Thursday my co-writer Robin is doing some excellent work there and I for one appreciate the fact that he’s come on board here.

So once again the erotic liberty crowd has hit the internet. Submitted for your consideration rules for California judges:

California’s Supreme Court has voted to prohibit state judges from belonging to the Boy Scouts of America on grounds that the group discriminates against gays.

The court says its seven justices unanimously voted Friday to heed a recommendation by its ethics advisory committee barring judges’ affiliation with the organization.

In 1996 the state Supreme Court banned judges from belonging to groups that discriminate on the basis of sexual orientation, but made an exception for nonprofit youth organizations.

An ethics advisory committee in February recommended eliminating the exception to enhance public confidence in the judiciary. ~NBC News

So far you can still belong to a church that believes in traditionalmarriage but how long will that last?  If you recall last Frenetic Friday I pointed out how Frank Bruni in his OP-ED piece

Your God and My Dignity  he said that our religious freedom applies only to our pew, home, and heart. Here we have the California Supreme Court relegating other justices to pew, home, and heart but based on their their reasoning how soon will the church be declare to be the same as the Boy Scouts?

Along the same line the Church of the Later Day Saints has issued a statement willing to bargain with LGBQT in which they will support legislation that “protect LGBT people in areas such as housing and employment – as long as accommodations are made to protect the freedom of religious people who oppose such measures”  Immediately Andrew Rosenthal responded with: Mormon Church Wants Freedom to Discriminate  “That’s fake “war on religion” speak. What they want is legal permission to use their religion as an excuse to discriminate.”  And let’s face it the LDS was naive if they thought the LGBQT group was going to step back when they have made this much of an in road into the culture.

In an interview with Spanish newspaper El Mundo, Wilde revealed that in 1985, Hawking, who is a staunch atheist, was struck down by pneumonia while participating in research at CERN that left him in a coma.

Wilde said that she received a phone call from the hospital in Switzerland letting her know that he was close to death.

“Please Lord, let Stephen live,” was the prayer she recalls saying.

The doctors said that there was nothing else that they could do, and asked her for permission to turn off Hawking’s life support, but Wilde refused.

“Turning off the respirator was unthinkable. What could more shameful then for such a heroic struggle for life to end! It would negate everything that I too had fought so hard for,” she said.

“My response was instant: Stephen should live.”

This is from the Briefing aka Al Mohler what do you think would scare Kim Jung Un the most?  Would it be an uprising of the military?  An attack from the South? How about Soap Operas?  Yes, South Korean soap operas scare Kim Jung Un to the point that some people who have been found with them have been executed. Yes it appears that the world the Soaps show is too free too diverse despite the cliched plots and outrageous devices.  That has to be shut down immediately and what better way than executions?  Pray for the people in North Korea.

Over at Adam4d.com they define what is a Theological Nerd.  I’m one.

This was pointed out to me by the guys at Triablogue: Stephen Hawking’s first wife prayed to God he would live even as he mocked her faith.

Renowned astrophysicist Stephen Hawking’s first wife Jane Wilde has revealed that her religious faith was integral in enabling her to care for him during their marriage.

Hawkings of course has continued his worship of  “the goddess Physics” and has declared that miracles are incompatible with science.

Lastly don’t drive a drone drunk you might just be put on a no fly list.

Drone

This is a favorite with hobbyists and drunks.  Seems he was flying this around some apartments when it got knocked out of the sky and landed on the neighbor’s lawn.  The neighbor was the POTUS and Secret Service was deployed.  Well after the hubbub died down the maker of the drone said that in the next software update Washington D.C. will become a no fly zone.

Thats it for tonight I am once again in the grip of a fever and so good night.
