Frenetic Friday

Well finally the last debate of the Presidential election has occurred and if you want to see that last debate go here:

Just a few comments regarding that debate:
1. I think Bob Schieffer did an excellent job of moderating much better than some other moderators.
2.  I really didn’t hear much from either candidate regarding foreign policy they seemed to be slipping back to domestic policy all the time.
And in the interest of the fair play here is the third-party candidate debate
And here is something from Randy Alcorn on whether it is wrong for a Christian to choose the lesser of two evils (ht: Dan Phillips)
While I am at it here is a little something from Frank Turk on Math and Elections.
Proverbs 19:20–21 Listen to advice and accept instruction, that you may gain wisdom in the future.  Many are the plans in the mind of a man, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.
And stepping outside of the US there is good news from Calgary Alberta (Canada for those of you without a globe) where Pastor Stephen Boissoin, at the end of a twelve-year battle, has been cleared of a “hate speech” conviction for his letter to the editor where he expressed his Christian views about homosexual behavior.  Read more here.
And showing the further degradation of the culture a twenty year old Brazilian woman auctions off her virginity for over $700,000.  According to the website she plans to donate 90 percent of the auction price to a charity to build homes in Brazil.  Oh by the way this is part of a documentary film.  It will probably win an Oscar.
And on the lighter side of the news here is a clip from the upcoming Lego Batman movie.
And here is a Disney version of the movie Looper by Screen Junkies
And speaking of our Robotic Over Lords here is the latest version of a mobile mech suit.
That’s it for this week.
